About the Author
Liz Climo grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to Los Angeles after college to work as a character artist on The Simpsons. She is the illustrator of You Don't Want a Unicorn! and Can Somebody Please Scratch My Back?, as well as the author and illustrator of the Rory the Dinosaur series, Please Don't Eat Me, The Little World of Liz Climo, Lobster is the Best Medicine, and Best Bear Ever! Liz currently lives with her husband, their daughter, and their dog Shooby. Salina Yoon is an award-winning author/illustrator of nearly 200 books for children, such as Kiki & Jax: The Life-Changing Magic of Friendship, written by Marie Kondo, as well as Penguin and Pinecone, Penguin on Vacation, Penguin in Love, Penguin and Pumpkin, Penguin's Big Adventure, Found, Stormy Night, Bear’s Big Day, Be a Friend, and the Duck, Duck, Porcupine series. She studied art and design at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and now lives in San Diego with her family. www.salinayoon.com.
 
Connie Schofield-Morrison and Frank Morrison teamed up for the first time to capture the rhythm of the neighborhood in I Got the Rhythm and again in I Got the Christmas Spirit. Connie has been writing since she was a young girl and is inspired every day by the big sounds and bright colors of the world around her. Frank works as a fine artist and is the award-winning illustrator of many books for children, including Our Children Can Soar and Jazzy Miz Mozetta, for which he won the Coretta Scott King-John Steptoe Award for New Talent. Connie and Frank live in Atlanta, Georgia, with their five children.
 
Cristina Lalli has always believed that books have a special power. She received a Masters of Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art and has worked in Chicago, New York, and London as a designer, illustrator, and educator. Now settled in Portland, Oregon, she is an active member of SCBWI. She received a Portfolio Honor Award at SCBWI LA 2018, and was the recipient of the SCBWI 2018 Don Freeman Grant for a pre-published work. This is her debut picture book.
