While technical writer Tammy Kaehler has attended racing school, she prefers her thrills to come from watching car racing from the stands, or from the fictional adventures of her amatur sleuth, race car driver Kate Reilly. Braking Points, the second in Tammy’s Racing Mysteries, not only pits Kate against other drivers and the clock in the grueling Petit Le Mans, but also against accusations of her involvement in a friend’s death. Tammy will drive safely and sedately from Los Angeles for her event.
Tammy will also be signing in Redondo Beach on April 6th!

Dodging unfavorable media attention and a pit reporter with a bias against women in racing, Kate redeems herself by delivering stunning performances behind the wheel at the next race: Petit Le Mans, the ten-hour endurance classic. The championship race weekend and an undercurrent of threats on all sides rev Kate's nerves to their limits. From on-track action, to sponsor parties, to the Series awards banquet, she's part of the action, uncovering motives, secrets, and powerful ambitions.
