Comic-Con International: San Diego began in 1970 when a group of comic, movie, and science fiction fans banded together to put on the first comic book convention in SoCal More than four decades later, it’s become the pop culture convention of the hemisphere, and a favorite part of MG’s summer!
Attending authors known at publication include Special Guests of the Convention Patrick Rothfuss (The Kingkiller Chronicles), Sarah J. Maas (Throne of Glass), Seanan McGuire (Every Heart a Doorway), Marissa Meyer (The Lunar Chronicles), Peter David (Knight Life), William Gibson (Neuromancer), G. Willow Wilson (Alif the Unseen), and Cece Bell (El Deafo). Plus 125,000-odd fans and more pop culture than you can imagine! You can also find us in publisher booths in the Exhibit Hall, and of course upstairs supporting many author signings in the convention’s autograph area! Check out the titles below for an (incomplete) representation of more than 100 attending authors' works.
