Christopher Paolini signs in San Diego

After four volumes in the Inheritance Cycle telling stories of Eragon, Saphira, and other inhabitants of the land of Alagaësia, Christopher Paolini has taken a non-prose-centric approach to sharing the world with readers with a coloring book. The book contains quotations from the Inheritance Cycle books, and art by award-winning fantasy illustrator Ciruelo. Christopher stated: “The coloring book is illustrated by Ciruelo, a friend and one of my favorite dragon artists. He’s done an amazing job with Saphira, Thorn, Fírnen, and all the other dragons of the Inheritance Cycle! I love how he’s brought Alagaësia to life through his drawings of scenes, characters, and locations from the entire series. After so many years spent thinking about the world and the story, it’s really gratifying to share these images with you.”
