Brandon Sanderson’s Stormlight Archive epic fantasy sequence began in 2010 with the New York Times bestseller The Way of Kings. Now the eagerly anticipated Words of Radiance continues the epic story and answers many readers’ questions. Brandon is including Mysterious Galaxy as one of only three stores on his book-signing tour where he will be numbering his books as well as signing.
Brandon Sanderson signs Words of Radiance in San Diego. This is a numbered event – numbers for the signing line are free with the purchase of Words of Radiance from Mysterious Galaxy, starting March 4th at 10 AM when the book goes on sale. Come by the store or call us! Either way you will be covered for the event. Brandon numbers books at his signings on the day of release. Your number in the signing line will be this number so make sure you leave it in your copy! We have set number ranges and they will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis with the purchase of Words of Radiance only. If you are planning to attend the event, please do not place your order through the web site as all such orders are processed after the event. Instead, please contact the store and purchase the book on or after the on-sale date. |

About the Author
Brandon Sanderson was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska and now lives in Provo, Utah. Unlike a lot of writers, he wasn't born wanting to write books. The bug didn't hit him until he was in junior high, when a teacher handed him a fantasy novel for the first time.
After that, he was a goner. He went to Brigham Young University as a chemistry major, but his secret passion was to become a fantasy novelist. He eventually changed his major to English, and started writing novels compulsively.
In 2003, he finally managed to sell a book (his sixth) to Tor. At that time, he was writing his thirteenth novel and working a graveyard shift at a local hotel so that he could have time to write while he put himself through graduate school. (He eventually got a Master's in creative writing.)
Brandon is a practicing member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he served a mission for the church in Seoul, Korea. He married a wonderful girl named Emily in July 2006, and his first child was born in October 2007.
