This is an IN-STORE EVENT with author Jacqueline Carey, in discussion with conversation partner Mia Tsai. The event will consist of a 30 minute discussion, followed by a Q&A with the audience, and finally a book signing. 

ATTENDING THE EVENT? Purchasing a copy of CASSIEL'S SERVANT through Mysterious Galaxy will get you a numbered ticket for the signing line after the event. Those who have not purchased a book through us are still welcome to get their books signed, but will have to wait until after the numbered line has finished. We highly recommend ordering books in advance of the event, as there's always a chance we well sell out by the event day. Purchasing your books through Mysterious Galaxy allows us to continue to host author events, so we thank you in advance for your support!

How to Order a book from Jacqueline Carey and/or Mia Tsai if you're attending the event:

1. Add the desired book(s) to your cart.
2. At checkout in the "order comments" box write "attending event." In the event you do not show, we recommend you also put in the comments whether or not you'd like your book "signed only," or to whom your book(s) should be personalized (i.e. "To: Ms. Galaxy"). Requests for anything beyond a name, like a note or quote, are up to the author's discretion and are not guaranteed. Orders must be placed by 12pm pt on the day of the event (August 5th) if you want personalization. About the Authors
JACQUELINE CAREY is the NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author of the critically acclaimed and award-winning Kushiel’s Legacy series of historical fantasy novels. Recent novels include the Shakespearean adaptation MIRANDA AND CALIBAN and the epic fantasy standalone STARLESS. Carey enjoys doing research on a wide variety of arcane topics, and an affinity for travel has taken her from Iceland to China to date. She currently lives in West Michigan.

MIA TSAI is a Taiwanese American author of speculative fiction. She lives in Atlanta with her family and, when not writing, is a hype woman for her orchids and a devoted cat gopher. Her favorite things include music of all kinds (really, truly) and taking long trips with nothing but the open road and a saucy rhythm section. She has been quoted in GLAMOUR once.
