About the Author
Ayize Jama-Everett M.Div, M.A. M.F.A is an author, educator, and therapist. Originally from New York City, he now lives in Oakland, California. Ayize is a thought leader in the field of African-American culture and psychedelics. He teaches at Starr King School for the Ministry, focusing on the role of Psychedelics, Plant medicine and religious use. He has also taught at The Chaplinancy institute, California College of the Arts, and Western Colorado College. He is the author of The Liminal People quartet (THE LIMINAL PEOPLE, THE ENTROPY OF BONES, THE LIMINAL WAR, and HEROES OF AN UNKNOWN WORLD, published by Small Beer) as well as the graphic novels BOX OF BONES (Rosarium Press) and THE LAST COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO (Abrams/Megascope). The Liminal People is the first of Ayize Jama-Everett's Liminal novels.
Membership in the razor neck crew is for life. But when Taggert, who can heal and hurt with just a touch, receives a call from the past he is honor bound to try and help the woman he once loved try to find her daughter. Taggert realizes the girl has more power than even he can imagine and has to wrestle with the nature of his own skills, not to mention risking the wrath of his enigmatic master and perhaps even the gods, in order keep the girl safe. In the end, Taggert will have to delve into the depths of his heart and soul to survive.
