She is a graduate from USC’s School Cinema- Television, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Film Production. Milan’s debut science-fiction novel, Ignite the Stars, follows a seventeen year old girl, a criminal mastermind and incredible pilot, who becomes the military academy’s prisoner. He received an undergraduate degree from Miami University and a graduate degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead where he focused on screenwriting and fiction. Boose is also the former Los Angeles and Chicago editor of the BlackBook Magazine. His newest novel, Thetis, is the second book in the Deep Sky saga. The first book, Achilles, follows a Cleveland boy named Jonah Lincoln, who has the opportunity to embark on the voyage of a lifetime- the chance to leave Earth and live on a new planet, but struggle arises when their ship crashes on the moon Achilles.
Alexa Donne is a Ravenclaw who works a lot with teenagers; she organizes fan conventions and advises students on their college admission essays. When she’s not writing she makes YouTube videos, records podcasts, and works in international television marketing. Her debut novel Brightly Burning, a retelling of Jane Eyre, was praised by Kirkus Reviews as “a gripping examination of class, romance, and survival set in a dystopian future that feels chillingly relevant to our present times.”
Readers can follow Bree Barton on YouTube, where she creates videos on the writing craft and the publishing process. She is an author, ghostwriter, and dance teacher in Los Angeles. Barton’s debut novel, Heart of Thorns, is the first book in a fierce feminist trilogy. It follows seventeen-year-old Mia, who is betrothed to the prince against her wishes. Her dream is to become a Huntress, a small group of elites who hunt down women who practice magic. Kirkus Reviews calls this novel “a gripping, complex narrative that balances emotion and logic in this trilogy opener, while vividly crafted characters and cinematic details create a world readers will want to get lost in.”

Everyone in the universe knows his name. Everyone in the universe fears him. But no one realizes that notorious outlaw Ia Cōcha is a seventeen-year-old girl.
A criminal mastermind and unrivaled pilot, Ia has spent her life terrorizing the Olympus Commonwealth, the imperialist nation that destroyed her home. When the Commonwealth captures her and her true identity is exposed, they see Ia's age and talent as an opportunity: by forcing her to serve them, they will prove that no one is beyond their control.
Soon, Ia is trapped at the Commonwealth's military academy, desperately plotting her escape. But new acquaintances--including Brinn, a seemingly average student with a closely-held secret, and their charming Flight Master, Knives--cause Ia to question her own alliances. Can she find a way to escape the Commonwealth's clutches before these bonds deepen?
In this exhilarating edge-of-your-seat sci-fi adventure--perfect for fans of The Lunar Chronicles--debut author Maura Milan introduces our world to a thrilling new heroine.
Blind and broken, orphaned teenager Jonah Lincoln reluctantly boards a rescue ship bound for the planet Thetis, but not before it picks up a few more surprising and dangerous survivors from the massacre on the moon Achilles. After regaining his sight, Jonah sees the gated colony on Thetis is just as he feared--cloaked in mystery and under an oppressive rule with no one to trust--and that outside the walls, it's even worse. Surrounded by terrifying new landscapes and creatures, Jonah and his friends fight to save the colony and restore order to the planet.
Just as Jonah grasps his near-impossible mission, the alien voices from Achilles return, pushing him to discover the truth about the Silver Foot Galaxy and his role in both its future and past. And when another ship arrives, it's then Jonah knows he has to make the ultimate sacrifice.
Stella Ainsley leaves poverty behind when she quits her engineering job aboard the Stalwart to become a governess on a private ship. On the Rochester, there's no water ration, more books than one person could devour in a lifetime, and an AI who seems more friend than robot.
But no one warned Stella that the ship seems to be haunted, nor that it may be involved in a conspiracy that could topple the entire interstellar fleet. Surrounded by mysteries, Stella finds her equal in the brooding but kind nineteen-year-old Captain Hugo. When several attempts on his life spark more questions than answers, and the beautiful Bianca Ingram appears at Hugo's request, his unpredictable behavior causes Stella's suspicions to mount. Without knowing who to trust, Stella must decide whether to follow her head or her heart.
Alexa Donne's lush and enthralling reimagining of the classic Jane Eyre, set among the stars, will seduce and beguile you.
Inventive and heart-racing, this fierce feminist teen fantasy from debut author Bree Barton explores a dark kingdom in which only women can possess magic--and every woman is suspected of having it.
Fans of Leigh Bardugo and Laini Taylor won't want to miss this gorgeously written, bold novel, the first in the Heart of Thorns trilogy.
In the ancient river kingdom, where touch is a battlefield and bodies the instruments of war, Mia Rose has pledged her life to hunting Gwyrach: women who can manipulate flesh, bones, breath, and blood. The same women who killed her mother without a single scratch.
But when Mia's father announces an alliance with the royal family, she is forced to trade in her knives and trousers for a sumptuous silk gown. Determined to forge her own path forward, Mia plots a daring escape, but could never predict the greatest betrayal of all: her own body. Mia possesses the very magic she has sworn to destroy.
Now, as she untangles the secrets of her past, Mia must learn to trust her heart...even if it kills her.
