C.B. Lee’s first novel in the Sidekick Squad series, Not Your Sidekick was a 2017 Lambda Literary Award Finalist in YA. Jenn Polish’s debut YA fantasy novel Lunav is a lesbian fairy tale set in a land of faeries, genderqueer rabbits, dragons that grow on trees, and an oppressive human government. Jenn was a college professor of Theatre and English in the CUNY system, and received their PhD in English from the CUNY Graduate Center.
Daughter of No One by Sam Ledel is the first book in the Odium Trilogy. Princess Aurelia and village outcast Jastyn are as different as can be, but neither can deny their attraction to each other. While the circumstances of birth keep them apart, fate seems determined to bring them together. When Aurelia is kidnapped, she and Jastyn must face their enemies, fae and human, if they want to survive. Sam’s debut novel was the coming-of-age book, Rocks and Stars.
