Howard V. Hendrix is a science fiction novelist with several books and short stories in his catalog and holds a PhD in English Literature from UC Riverside. His novels include Better Angels, Lightpaths, Spears of God, and others. His newest book, The Girls with Kaleidoscope Eyes: Analog Stories for a Digital Age, is a collection of ten short stories that range from topics of time travel, the 1939 World’s Fair, Einstein channeled by a fortune teller, a spam-blocker program that shuts down the universe, and other far-fetched yet entertaining premises. Publisher’s Weekly has called Hendrix’s latest book, “a pleasing array of science fiction stories… fans of idea-driven SF will enjoy dipping in here and there or reading straight through.”
