Not only has Gwenda Bond’s work appeared in Publishers Weekly, The Washington Post, Strange Horizons and Lightspeed, but her first novel, Blackwood, is currently in development for a TV series with MTV. All of this, and Gwenda has still managed to find time to write her second novel, The Woken Gods, a YA fantasy whose main character, Kyra, is living in a world where five years earlier, all the gods of old suddenly woke up.
