A young reader's book about vampires, zombies, dark magic and a Santa Claus that can kick butt!
Vampire snowmen are the most disgusting creatures that walk the outskirts of the North Pole. One day, vampire snowmen attacked the workshop without warning. Laidenn, Santa's only dark elf-in-training, was already waiting for their arrival.
The beasts manage to kidnap Santa and take him to the outskirts. There is only one other creature that can help Laidenn defeat the vampires and bring Santa back to the workshop before he has to deliver toys. And they are the living dead elves. But only a true dark elf can raise the creatures.
Laidenn must do all he can to finish his Dark Elf training before Christmas Eve night. He must raise the Living Dead Elves and lead them into the outskirts to defeat the vampires and save Christmas. But who are the vampires and what's their motive? Can they be led by someone from Santa's past? Most questions will be answered in, Laidenn The Dark Elf book one.

Lyle's wife, Mandy, also is an author! Kaylee’s New Year’s resolution is to not take life so seriously. As a writer of paranormal romance, she leads a simple and uneventful life. She isn’t searching for anything; men are the last thing on her mind. That changes when she locks eyes with a ridiculously handsome stranger. In seconds, her world is turned upside down. Sparks fly, but as quickly as the man approached, he was gone. Kaylee wonders if she will ever see him again. She can’t understand how anyone could walk away from something so overwhelming. Alec, a 253-year-old vampire, has spent years not caring about anyone. His loyalty was to his best friend, Lucian, who was more like a brother than a friend. Darkness of Night is the most popular club in the world. Alec has spent many nights watching humans and even indulges with a few, but he was not ready for what fate had in store for him. Being half vampire and half human has made life challenging for Alec. He was raised by his human mother, and knew very little about his father. Alec knew he was different because his mother sheltered him from the world. When he looked to be in his early twenties, he finally understood why he was so different. It is forbidden for humans to know the secret of vampire existence. Now, Alec must choose between losing his true love or jeopardizing Kaylee’s life and his existence. In the end will true love conquer all or is it just a line in a book?
