Mysterious Galaxy is delighted to be the bookseller at the most exciting young adult author event of the season, the Smart Chicks Kick It Tour stop a the Endinitas County Library on Tuesday, September 21, at 6:00 PM. This tour stop includes supernatural / paranormal / fantasy authors: Kelley Armstrong (The Reckoning ); Rachel Caine (the Morganville Vampires); Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl (Beautiful Creatures); Melissa Marr (The Wicked Lovely books); Alyson Noel (The Immortals); Mary Pearson (The Adoration of Jenna Fox); Carrie Ryan (The Forest of Hands and Teeth); and Rachel Vincent (Soul Screamers). This stop is a nice mix of local / Southern CA authors and traveling authors – we hope it is a mix of authors you already know and love, and authors whose works you have yet to discover.

Attendees will have a chance to win multiple exciting raffle items, including a basket filled to the brim with books from all 18 of the authors participating in the national tour (not all of whom will be at our event), and at each event, attendees will be invited to enter their name in a raffle, and the winner’s name will be a character included in one of the stories in the forthcoming Smart Chicks’ anthology. Raffle tickets and tickets for the signing lines are available now at Mysterious Galaxy, with the purchase of any of the participating authors’ books, and will be available when we are set-up on-site as well.
