Sherwood Smith has been writing novels since she was five years old. At the age of six though, her books consisted of pages made out of paper towels taped together in book form. Smith began writing about another world called Sartorias-deles at the age of eight, and as she grew, so did the world she created. Sartorias-deles eventually became the setting for many of her short stories and novels. Smith’s writing career has come a long way from paper towel constructed books. With more than thirty books under her belt, Smith has been a pioneer in Young Adult fantasy and entertained generations of fantasy readers. Banner of the Damned is Smith’s latest fantasy novel.
