Join the first Noir at the Bar event in San Diego, as we bring the happy tradition of crime readings, authors, and adult beverages to Players Sports Bar. Please join authors Eric Beetner (top left), Aaron Philip Clark (top center), Ed LaValle (top right), Steve Willard (left), and Justin Robinson (right) . The event will take place at Players Sports Bar, located across the parking lot in the McGrath shopping center from the San Diego location. Thanks to the St. Louis and Los Angeles incarnations of Noir at the Bar for their innovative approach to an evening of crime! We just learned that Ed LaValle (top right) and Steve Willard (left) can't make the event.

Ex-convict Paul Little walks out on the only woman who has ever loved him to return to a life of crime in Philadelphia. But when Paul gets involved with a petty thug who is later murdered, he finds himself pinned between the volatile gangster accused of the crime and the straight-laced detective who put Paul away years ago.
A pictorial history of the San Diego Police Department, stretching from its beginnings to the present day, embellished by many period photographs.
Every conspiracy needs a guy like me. Every conspiracy has one... me. And now someone's trying to kill me. When everyone has a motive, everyone is a suspect, and I don't even know who all the players are. It's a race against time to figure out who wants me dead, and why, and how to prevent all the underground conspiracies, aliens, cryptids, and things that go bump in the night from throwing the world into chaos while I'm at it. Just another normal day at the office, really.
