Monte Schulz Signs in San Diego

11/22/2013 7:00 pm

Monte Schulz published his first novel, Down by the River, in 1990, and spent the next twelve years writing a three part novel of the Jazz Age. He wrote it for his father, the late cartoonist, Charles M. Schulz. Schulz shifts gears for his latest, combining the exquisitely wrought language of those novels and a straight-for-the-throat pulpy narrative. Naughty is based on the true story of Iva Kroeger and her husband Ralph, who were indicted for the murders of Mildred and Jay Arneson in 1962.

Appearing with Monte will be John Billheimer, author of A Player to be Maimed Later.
