What if Christopher Columbus was Jewish and the ships headed for the West Indies were carrying sacred artifacts rescued from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem? The Columbus Affair is a departure from Steve Berry’s  Cotton Malone series. Like fellow best-seller and friend James Rollins, Steve takes history as it is “known,” and then asks, “what if?” In appreciation for history, Steve and his wife Elizabeth have also started a foundation, History Matters, dedicated to aiding the preservation of our heritage.
