According to debut author Dan Wells, I am Not a Serial Killer is “about a teenage sociopath who follows strict rules to keep himself from hurting anyone, until one day a real killer comes to town and he has to break all of his rules to stop him. It’s being marketed as both YA horror and as an adult psychological thriller. It has a strong focus on psychology and morality, as the hero tries to do what’s right when his own darker nature rages at him to do evil.
