In the more than three decades he has been writing, John Crowley has received multiple awards for his critically acclaimed works,  including Little, Big, the Ægypt Cycle, and Lord Byron’s Novel: The Evening Land. Daniel Suarez returns on Saturday, January 9, at 2:00 PM to discuss Freedom™, the sequel to last year’s popular cyberthriller, Daemon. Daniel will terrify readers by explaining how the technology depicted in Daemon and FreedomTM may seem like science fiction, but it actually exists. In a new world controlled by the Daemon, an insidious computer program unleashed by a dying game designer, civilization is being remade to the Daemon’s plans. But is that any worse than falling victim to the corporate oppressors who oppose the Daemon?
