About the Author

To write this book, Diana Peterfreund visited taxidermy studios, sat in tree stands, climbed into ancient tombs, traveled all over Italy, and learned that shooting a bow is harder than it looks. A graduate of Yale University, she now lives in Washington, D.C., and has written six books for adults and teens.
