School and Library Programs

Mysterious Galaxy is Proud of its Programming for Young Adults at Schools and Libraries

We’ve fostered the love of books in adults for 19+ years and are proud of our programs that foster that same passion in our young friends and family members.

These programs are available to our local schools and libraries:

  • Author Events. We will coordinate with your teachers and / or librarians to bring authors to your venues to inspire student interest in both writing and reading.
  • Assistance in Book Selection. We can help you with both classics and what is new and hot in the YA world. Use us to help you select books for appropriate ages, reading levels, and subject matter.
  • Special discounts on books purchased for your school or library are available.
  • We offer in-store discounts on selected titles for parents, students and educators. Just come in and ask us about this program.
We’re committed to promoting enthusiasm, imagination, understanding, language, and social skills in community youth.
We have just finished our first Young Adult newsletter which we are happy to share with you. Scroll to the bottom of this page and click the link to the pdf file to read it on-line. Printed copies are available at both stores.
