Diane's Delights

A little something about Diane's (DB) reading habits ... in her own words. I started reading scary stories when I was three years old. Reading at three, you say!?! Well, sorta. I consider "Little Red Riding Hood" a scary story, don't you? That was one big bad nasty scary wolf, if you ask me. And I've been reading scary stories ever since. I love them ... really love them. Most people can tell when I'm reading a good one when they hear, "ohmigod!," while I'm reading or "oh no!" or the ever-popular "eeeuuuuuw." My husband has learned to ignore me when I have these reading outbursts. Let's just hope he doesn't interpret the real thing, a fire or an earthquake, for example, as crying wolf!

Go ahead, try to scare me

Just a warning -- this book is located on the shelves in the back of the store marked "Real" Horror. Just a warning, then. Nick Lupo (Oh, I know, what a name, huh?) is a homicide cop and he is a werewolf. There are people being torn apart and murdered in the little town where his girlfriend lives. Nick is fast becoming afraid that these killings are the work of a pack of werewolves. And he wasn't sure there were any others out there like himself. But he fast becomes a believer. And in the middle of all that, there's a serial killer loose and Nick is pretty sure the killer's not a werewolf. Lots of action and suspense for those of you who like a good scare.
